This precision machinist square is made by Kinex Measuring who has been making world-class measuring instruments tool since 1906. This square is perfect for the professional machinist, meticulous wood worker, or the DIY perfectionist. It is made from 2 pieces of tool steel. The base and blade are riveted together with 2 taper pins producing a strong and invisible joint. All faces and edges are ground and lapped for straightness and parallelism. Manufactured to strict German DIN 875/0 standards and guaranteed square to within 0.0004 inches (that’s four ten-thousandths of an inch) over the length of the blade. Comes in a triangular cardboard box. Includes signed inspection certificate.
