100% MADE IN THE USA!! This military hat box is hand-crafted from solid, kiln-dried Cherry wood (no particle board is used). Also available in oak or walnut (see other listings). This cherry wood is stained, then top-coated (twice) with a clear conversion varnish which meets all environmental regulations. The overall outside dimensions of this box are 17" wide x 16-3/4" deep x 9" high (including the lid). The lid itself measures 17-1/2" wide x 17" deep. Inside dimensions are 15" wide x 15" deep x 7-5/8" high. Comes with a hinged lid and a magnetic catch for the lid. A viewing glass is built into both the side panels and the front panel. * Option for a viewing glass built into the lid itself is also available...please see all photos and other listings. The inside bottom (or floor) of this case comes standard with black felt. ** For an additional fee, we do lazer wood engraving, brass nameplate engraving, and glass etching.
