Water hardness hinders soap effectiveness and leaves skin feeling slippery. This twin alternating softener system operates by having one tank remove hardness while the other regenerates. The first tank, filled with sodium-ion-saturated resin, attracts and traps calcium and magnesium ions, leaving water 'soft'. Once full, tanks switch roles. Regeneration involves flushing sodium-ion-rich solution through the tank, releasing trapped ions and resetting the resin. This process discards hard ions, leaving soft water ideal for hotels, schools, or restaurants.
