Floating Sound Healing

Floating Sound Healing

Be gently held by water as you rest on a stable floating board, while the soothing tones of crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes (and the occasional gong) wash through you. Sound naturally travels faster through water, so you feel the vibrations not only around you, but underneath you—creating a deep sense of safety, spaciousness, and calm. No yoga experience required; just lie back, breathe, and let the water rock you into stillness.

Each session begins with a few minutes of guided breathing and soft settling on the board. We may add a couple of slow, simple stretches to unwind the body, then sink into a long, luxurious rest as I play live instruments around the pool. The gentle motion of the water helps release held tension and quiet the mind. We close with silence, grounding, and a few sips of herbal tea (venue-dependent) so you leave clear, centred, and light.

Private or Group
Choose an intimate one-to-one (or a duo—beautiful for couples or friends), a small private group, or a public class. Private sessions are tailored to your needs—stress release, better sleep, nervous system reset, or simply a nourishing treat. Group classes are a gorgeous shared experience for birthdays, team wellbeing, retreats, or mindful hen gatherings. We can host at partner venues or bring the set-up to suitable pools.

Practical Bits

Sessions run 60–75 minutes. Boards and all equipment are provided. Non-swimmers are welcome—we stay in calm water, and you’ll be guided on and off the board with care. Please wear comfortable swimwear or quick-dry clothing, bring a small towel and water, and arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle in. If you’re pregnant, recovering from an injury, or have specific needs, let me know in advance so I can adapt the experience for you.

Ready to float? Send a note with your preferred date, location, and the number of guests, and I’ll share available times and options.

*Classes must be booked 24 hours in advance.
